Riding here in SoCal is fabulous, and I have yet to see less than 40 degrees

One of this year's Amgen TOC stages is about 20 minutes from my house. There are also 2 rides that cover 2 stages from this year's tour. I just signed up for the Thousand Oaks ride, http://www.breakawayride.com/race-details/ OBTW, the _base_ of Mulholland Drive is 12.5 miles from my house, a nice long climb with 5-7 percent grade.

I plan on attending at least the 2 LA area stages so if anyone happens to be in LA in May, give me a call.

you and SoCal suck!
I just got back from an hour ride in 35 degree weather. It was chilly for the first 10 minutes, but then the heat kicked in. I miss you Crump. Come back soon, that Navy promotion crap is way over rated.

Long story short...we've been asked to provide a flyby during the rolling start for stage 8. Should come with some VIP passes for the finish

Memorial Ride for Tim Schock
The Inaugural Memorial Ride for Officer Tim Schock will be this Saturday at 8am.  Day of Registration will start at 7am.  Normal 21 mile loop & paces PLUS two cruising paces for 10 miles for non-cyclists & family members.  This ride is open to everyone.  Coffee & snacks will be provided by Starbucks & Fat Frogs
