Loop 1 - 50 Miles (half century) - Departs and returns to Ntelos, and follows quite, very low traffic roads with breathtaking waterfront views in Olde Towne, the 164 overpass, Coast Guard Station with ships, old TCC campus near the Monitor Merrimac tunnel, Harborview (in Suffolk), Craney Island, Riverpoint, Scott's Creek and Crawford Parkway. 4 rest stops with full SAG support.
Loop 2 - 15 Miles (completes metric century distance) - Departs and returns to Ntelos, and follows quite, very low traffic roads with views of the Railroad Museum of Virginia, the oldest Shipyard in the US (Norfolk Navy Shipyard), Bide-a-Wee Golf course, the new TCC campus, Lake Forest and Gosport Park. 1 rest stop with full SAG support.
Loop 3 - 35 Miles (full english century) - Departs and returns to Ntelos, and follows quite, very scenic residential waterfront routes, including Olde Towne, Parkview, Shea Terrace, Port Norfolk, Merrimac Point, Glenshellah, Riverside, Churchland Bridge Overlooking the Elizabeth River, Hatton Point, Sterling Cove, Green Acres, and City Park. 3 rest stops with full SAG support.
Historic Waterfront Leisure Route - Departs and returns to Ntelos, and follows quite, very scenic residential waterfront routes, including Olde Towne, Parkview, Shea Terrace, Port Norfolk, and Scott's Creek. 1 rest stop with full SAG support.
Just like the Tour de France finish in Paris, the 100-mile English century concludes with several laps around historic downtown Portsmouth, full of cheering spectators! Registration includes police support at busy intersections, SAG support, cue sheets, road signage, lunch at the Ntelos Pavilion, and rest stops every 10 miles with tasty snacks, porta potties, very cold sport drinks, ice & water for each loop to beat the heat. Commemorative Guard City Century Jersey and T-shirt are available for purchase too,
