Is the frog to frog 65 mile ride an official shop ride? Is every one doing the ride?

I hear another attempt at a F2F is scheduled for May 18th. Can one of our illustrious shop owners confirm?

Yup, the 18th of May is a go. I planned on newsflashing it beginning of the month. I will _link_ the route & map again soon.

Illustrious? I'm not that artistic.

I'm more or less in for the ride (though i'm thinking of doing it this sunday or an addition loop or two on the usual ride). Didn't know if i mentioned this before, but I make maps for a living, shoot me the cue sheet and I'll make a map worthy of framing....free as always.

Anyone interested in Frog to Frog reverse ride on May 18th?

We can start ~7:00 and ride down to the FF VaB shop, then finish the ride back at the FF C. If interested let me know and we can determine where to meet for the start. (either at the shop or on Murray)

Tenetivly I'm in assuming my friends from out of down don't end up coming down.

Feel free to meet at my house (mile from FFC off of battlefield) for post ride calorie replenishment.

Dear Mr. Creedon,
I'm with you on the reverse Frog 2 Frog ride next weekend. Are we rolling at 20 mph?

Ace -

Let's plan on rolling at 20, we may get slowed down in the neighborhoods close to VaB FF's.

I want to double check that you know the route to the VaB FF shop? If not I will print a cue sheet to bring along.

We need to finalize departure location. I am OK to meet:
1: corner of Centerville and Murray
2: Corner of Fentress Loop and Ethridge Manor
3: at the shop

Closest for me is option 2; any of the 3 are fine for me.

Last point; time of departure. My vote is 6:45; but we could leave as late at 7:00.

Let me know what you think, then we can pass the word around the shop on Saturday.

Reverse F2F is better for me. Save gas ($) and time. Let me know when and where the start time is. Option 2 is closest to me but any option will do.

Re:Frog to Frog 3 Years, 8 Months ago
Mr. Creedon,
I am good with 6:45 am. on Sunday. I am also good with Fentress loop and Ethridge, but I am not good with slowing down in the neighborhoods. We must at all cost keep our pace above 20 mph for fear of falling over. We are part of the elite Fat Frogs racing team, I think we can handle the pace!!!
Yours in cycling,

I'm good for either meeting place, as its just an additional ride from my house.

I may have to break off early to head to va beach for a 1:00 photo shoot.

Re:Frog to Frog 3 Years, 8 Months ago
OK - we have a plan

- 6:45 departure time
- Corner Fentress loop and Ethridge Manor (the grassy knoll)
- Target speed of 20

Dave

PS - Ace, as I did not officially join the race team, I will try, nay - struggle valiantly to maintain full speed as we ride the neighborhoods in VaB. I know that it is a privelage to ride with race team members, I won't let you down.

Re:Frog to Frog 3 Years, 8 Months ago
I'm tentatively in for the Sunday ride. I'm planning on 50 on Saturday, but the 20 pace for Sunday sounds good to me.

I, however am coming from VB. Where can I park if we are meeting at Fentress Loop and Ethridge Manor.

And Dave...you did a great job keeping that 20 mph pace for the Knotts Island Century!

I'll either ride the extra 3 miles from my house or park at the shop.

I should be able to hang in a paceline at 20....i was able to in williamsburg at cap2cap.

Re:Frog to Frog 3 Years, 8 Months ago
Actually...after thinking about it, I'm going to park at the shop. That way, when we get back, I can leave my bike for some work.

I'll see you guys at Fentress Loop and Ethridge Manor at 6:45.

Bring food...the beach shop isn't usually open on Sunday morning. Starbucks (around the corner) and Panera should be. The store at Creeds should be open at about 15 miles.

Ace,

Race team members aren't elitist.. Frog race team members are lucky to have non-team members put up with us & ride, many times pulling us along. Frogs are frogs regardless of how much of a discount they receive!
