Hey there Jen. Sorry did not post this sooner. Brandon called on his way home from the hospital. He had many cuts and bruises but thank God nothing serious. He had a minor concussion. If anyone sees him tell him we are all thinking of him. Also, I spoke with Doug yesterday afternoon and he has road rash very badly on his shoulder and is very sore. Keep both of these guys as well as the others that were hurt in your thoughts this week. We have an amazing bunch of riders with us! I might add that Our guys were all in the top 10 when the crash occurred. To us you all won!!!
I am posting this as well. I had an email from one of the riders in their race. I thought he said it best. We are all competitive but we are all human. We do really all care for each other and that is why I love the Frogs. ________________________________________ From: Jim Jordan [mailto:

Subject: Brandon Cowen Update
Hi Donna,
My name is Jim Jordan and I ride with Dire Wolf Racing (Lynchburg, VA) and was with Brandon after yesterday’s carnage that was the Cat 5 race at RiR.
How is Brandon doing? If you don’t know, that’s fine. Please let him know that I’m concerned. He and Ken Sumrell, of Casey Auto/JRVS.com, took the brunt of the crash. We are all competitors on competing teams, but we still are fellow humans and cyclists that enjoy the sport and hope for nothing but tailwinds and great weather for all of us!
Jim Jordan
